Victoria is the tiny capital of the Seychelles images feature the Clock Tower and the Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market

Victoria is claimed to be one of the smallest capitals in the world. It is very small and unlike other cities as it has no hotels, I guess if you're there on business you'll just have stay at the beach.

There are few attractions in the city. Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market has some interesting stalls selling fresh produce and fish, a good place for travel photography. Upstairs has some tourist boutique shops and a cafe/restaurant.

Free parking is available at the stadium (Francis Rachel Street). It is just a short walk to Victoria Clock Tower, bear right onto Independence Ave for the Pirates Arms or straight on and next left after Revolution Ave for the market.
