Photo Essay Images of a Short Self-Guided Walk in Melbourne and Nature Photography in the Royal Botanic Gardens

Travel into Melbourne from the southern suburbs and park on the Southbank – there are several early-bird car parks in the area, good options are the Ballet School or Arts Centre. For a self-guided walking tour, head north from the carpark to the river and the Southbank Promenade. Stroll along the promenade and cross at either the Southbank footbridge or Sandridge Bridge and head for Finders Square capturing images along the way. Walk down Flinders Street and right at Degraves Street and follow the lane ways into China Town, Little Bourke Street. It's a good place for lunch before setting off to the Royal Botanic Gardens for some nature photography.
