Scenic walk along Kea Point Track featuring Mount Sefton, Hooker Valley, MacKenzie Basin and Mueller Glacier

Kea Point Track starts near at Mount Cook National Park’s Visitor Centre in the village but driving to the White Horse Hill carpark reduces the walking time by about an hour.

The track winds its way through scrub and sub-alpine grasslands with outstanding views of Mount Sefton and back towards outstanding Hooker Valley and MacKenzie Basin. At the end of the track, there is a viewing platform with magnificent views of the Mueller Glacier moraine wall, Mount Sefton, the Hooker Valley, Mueller Proglacial Lake and Mount Cook as featured in the photo essay image gallery.
