Photo Essay Images from the Breathtaking Grand Canyon Loop Walk and Sandstone Terraces in the Grampian Mountains
The Grand Canyon Loop Walk is a short 900-metre medium grade walk starting and finishing at the Wonderland Region carpark in Victoria's Grampian Mountains. From the carpark cross the bridge over Stony Creek and turn left. The difficult sections have handrails and at the end, there are some metal steps easing the climb out of the canyon. On leaving the Canyon, turn right to return to the carpark via the Sandstone Terraces – turn left for a 4.2 Km strenuous walk to the Pinnacle
There are many landscape photography opportunities, especially through the canyon. The sandstone terraces also provide opportunities to capture nature and macro images, as there are several common spring wild flowers on the terraces.
