Adelaide Botanic Gardens – Magnificent Trees, Beautiful Plant Species and Native Birds

The Adelaide Botanic Garden is compact and a brief visit of a couple of hours will introduce them but it really needs at least a day to do this justice.

The nature photography gallery opposite shows images of the Bicentennial Conservatory, Palm House, Cactus and Succulent Garden, the fountain in the Economic Garden and a first day flowering Victoria amazonica in the Amazonian Water Lily Pavilion Victoria amazonica flowers are white on the first day and pink on the second (see Singapore Botanic Gardens).

The second image gallery shows some of the magnificent trees that are in the garden including an ancient tree River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) and Moreton Bay Fig (Fisus macrophylla) together with several birds.
